From the country to the city, our trailers are rolling out the gate. We’ve delivered some real beauties lately to cater to two very different needs. A lowboy was put straight to work in Central Queensland while a Deck Widener was a new addition to the suburbs of Sydney.
Cyclone Debbie Aftermath: Low Boy for Schwarz Excavations
Cyclone Debbie left a trail of destruction across a large part of Queensland and New South Wales, with many homes still uninhabitable nearly two months on. In the wake of the cyclone comes a massive clean-up particularly for the train rail lines. Luckily, Schwarz Excavations, a well-respected rail maintenance, civil construction, and bulk and heavy haulage contracting company, was up for the task – and had a bit of help in doing so.
Their new drop deck Low Boy trailer will be put straight to work in Central Queensland, assisting in repairing the rail network which experienced severe damage throughout the region. This low loader only weighs 10.5t and with deck widening to 3.5 metres. Schwarz Evacuation knows quality when they see it.
When Schwarz Excavations opened for business in 1986 they started with a mini excavator and a truck offering contract excavation for local Queensland builders and plumbers. They’ve certainly come a long way since then. Let’s take a look at some of the many features of their a Low Boy Trailer, which is an ideal economical transport solution for high duty cycle fleets
- 3X4 and 4X4 configurations available.
- High tensile quench and tempered steel.
- 35T Capacity Frame
- Optional Extendable Frame and optional Widening Frame
- Ramp length options including Lay Flat for better fuel economy
- Axle lift/tyre change facility.
- Rope rails and built-in steps fitted on all coamings

We wish Schwarz Excavations the best of luck in the clean-up of Cyclone Debbie and trust they enjoy using the latest edition to their impressive fleet.
