Each month, we take the time to highlight some of the impressive trailers rolling off The Drake Group lot and recognise the hard work that goes into manufacturing heavy haulage trailers for every kind of industry. Our Recent Deliveries for March focus on Full Widener trailers and Dolly Trailers for two great customers – it seems these trailers are the flavour of the month.
Getting high for BJC Heavy Haulage
The crew at BJC Heavy Haulage needed a float that would be able to carry John Deere cotton pickers. If you’ve ever seen this mammoth machinery, you’d know that the height alone would set off alarm bells. Of course, the Drake Trailers team were up for the challenge. They custom-designed a 4X4 Full Widener with a deck that widen to a whopping 3.8 metres, wheel wells to reduce the height of the cotton pickers to under five metres, hydraulic landing legs and ramp props. Finished off with a 2X4 Dolly Trailer and one would agree this is a trailer built to work.

Blue steel for Centurion Transport
