At The Drake Group we relish the challenge of a custom trailer build. So, when our friends at Mactrans Heavy Haulage asked us for something special for their next trailer, we took the challenge head on.
A new Low in Heights
They asked for, and we delivered, a brand new 8×8 Low Height Steerable heavy haulage trailer with all the trimmings. This included BPW axles, return to ride height functions, double-acting suspension cylinders, low height centre spine, fuel tank, ramp props, air compressor including hose reel and to top it all off, complete radio remote control operation. All in a day’s work for the team at The Drake Group.
This form and functionality of the Low Height Steerable means that it’s capable of taking on loads other trailers can’t touch, and do it with ease. Each trailer that rolls out of our in-house manufacturing facility can be customised to suit the customer’s preferences to provide extra versatility and value for money.
Mactrans Style
Mactrans Heavy Haulage have been a long-time customer of The Drake Group and they’re known for their stylish trucks that have been custom painted with wild west themes. Of course, we weren’t surprised to see our 8X8 Low Height Steerable paired with a stunning white Mack prime mover replete with custom teal and blue trimmings and King Bars.
The action continues with a thrilling cowboy shoot out adorning the rear of the truck and colourful characters scattered along the side. Reflective metal trim on the trailer with mactrans branding rounds out the package.
