In 2020, The Drake Group delivered a huge number of heavy haulage trailers, with many of our customers investing in their business by capitalising on the Accelerated Depreciation deductions for new assets.

Hi-Quality Group
White not technically a “new” delivery, Hi-Quality’s 6×8 Steerable trailer is looking as good as new thanks to a fresh paint job and some general maintenance completed by our Service and Repairs team.
McKinnon Quarries & Civil
McKinnon Quarries & Civil are loving their new Drake 3X4 Supertilt. Here it is out and about with their first load – an Asphalt Paver and Bobcat. Right behind her is their Drake Quad making light work of the REALLY heavy stuff – a profiler. Looked like a great day for it too.
Kendall Trucking
You may recognise this face! Glenn “Yogi” Kendall of Kendall Trucking, who has featured in the popular realty TV show Outback Truckers, collected his new Drop Deck Widener in October. Coupled with his ’95 model Kenworth T900 truck, this combo is made to stand out.
Iron Haul Australia

Carter Heavy Haulage
Fueled by Josh’s passion for the transport industry and Leonnie’s business acumen, in 2013 Josh and Leonnie Carter took the leap and established Carter Heavy Haulage and they haven’t looked back! Relocating to a larger facility at Rutherford due to their fleet expansion and project growth, as well as a dedicated and passionate team behind them, they are doing everything right to cement themselves as leaders in the transport industry. It was great to see Josh earlier in December collecting his latest acquisition, a Drake 5×8 Swingwing.
Balto Civil
Balto Civil’s new 3X4 Deck Widener certainly created some noise in November, especially when it was hooked up to their matte black truck. Watch it in action on our Facebook Page.
Queensland Rail
In October, Queensland Rail collected their new O’Phee Drop Deck with special load trestles for carrying, you guessed it, railway lines. We saw the folks at Queensland Rail only two months later when they picked up their new Drake Lowboy.
