Reporting to the Supervisor / Team Leader, Drake Group Welders are well-respected and skilled members of the workshop team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication and welding of trailers and components
• Check and test work performed by themselves
• Maintain tools and equipment in an efficient and safe operating condition
• Follow safe work methods
• Carry out procedures to keep factory areas clean, neat and tidy
• Report non-conformance in work and materials and opportunities for improvement to the Workshop Supervisor

This role requires someone who can follow workshop drawings and perform testing, welding, fabrication and processing of steel products.

• 4 day working week available to Day Shifts roster (Mon to Thurs, Tues to Fri)
• 5-day traditional working week shift
• Afternoon shift
