Each month, we focus in on one of our valued customers who have taken a recent delivery from The Drake Group. Our Customer is Focus for August is Schwarz Excavations, who is a well-respected rail maintenance and civil construction company based in Central Queensland.
About Schwarz Excavations
From humble beginnings, Schwarz Excavations was established by husband and wife team, Noel and Patricia Schwarz. They began with a mini excavator and a single truck, working on a contract with local builders and plumbers in Queensland. Within five years, they had steadily expanded their business, adding more modern machinery to their fleet including bobcats, excavators and trucks.
Now in their second generation, their son Jeffrey Schwarz has taken over the reigns as a director as the demand for rail maintenance projects increased. They’ve recently been working on some large projects including the repair of train rail lines in the wake of Cyclone Debbie, which hit our shores in late March this year, leaving a trail of destruction across Queensland and New South Wales.
They had a little help in their clean up project, thanks to their recent delivery of a drop deck low boy trailer, designed and manufactured by Drake Trailers.
