The Drake Group acquires O’Phee Trailers
Exciting times lay ahead for us here at Drake Trailers as just last week we officially welcomed on board the team from O’Phee Trailers. The announcement, which sees our two great Australian truck trailer manufacturers join forces, was made in an official press release on Wednesday.
As many in the trucking industry would know, O’Phee Trailers is an established trailer manufacturer with a strong brand built on values of quality, reliability and service. The inherent similarities and connections between Drake and O’Phee is what we’re sure will make for a perfect fit for both companies. Not least because it will provide both Drake and O’Phee customers access to a diverse range of transport solutions, and both companies the chance to grow and develop new products.
On the ground, customers and staff will likely see little change as a result of the acquisition. That’s because Mick and Sharon O’Phee, together with their highly skilled team, will continue to operate the O’Phee Trailers business at their present location in Rocklea, south of Brisbane.
