The 2010 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES) is predicted to be one of Australia’s largest transport exhibitions, as all major truck and trailer manufacturers and equipment suppliers thrown their support behind the March 18–20 event.
For us at Drake Trailers, the Melbourne ITTES is seen as the perfect opportunity to reveal our new company branding and logo, which has been designed to acknowledge 50 years in trailer manufacturing. The new orange, blue and grey logo features the word ‘Drake’ with a Perentie standing proudly on top.
To coincide with the release of our new image, a new range of purpose built heavy haulage equipment will also be on display at the ITTES including standard low loaders, mine site trailers, widening hydraulic low loaders, as well as fully modular steerable platforms.
We’ll also be displaying a bright pink 4×4 low loader and 2×4 dolly as part of a fundraising effort for the McGrath Foundation, which supports those living with breast cancer. The display will be made complete with a bright pink, fully sign written, pink Western Star 4864 prime mover, purchased by long term customer Gavin Transport in Western Australia and driven across Australia by the company.
With the old “Drake Trailers Australia” logo name plate retired, the company has produced a commemorative 1:50 die cast scale model and a range of other Drake Trailers merchandise. A special edition, mounted version of the original casting will be auctioned and all proceeds will be donated to the McGrath Foundation.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2010 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show this weekend. In the meantime, if you’re looking for more information on our range of custom heavy haulage trailers, contact us on (07) 3271 5888.
