3×4 Extendable Deck Widener range
Our latest innovation comes in the form of our 3×4 Extendable Deck Widener trailer range. We based the design on an existing model that can adapt to longer loads. Trailers in this range can be extended by up to 5.5 m and can have lightweight drop-in deck sections and fitted bolster sections added. Other optional features include a drop bed frame, a radio remote-controlled hydraulic raise and lower gooseneck, lay flat ramps and a rear self-steering axle; these all combine to allow the user to deal with immensely complex loads with ease.
Further growth
Over the years, we have grown from being trailer manufacturers in Brisbane to being a recognised name throughout Australia. During this time, we have released many new models that meet an increased variety of demands. For instance, our new telescopic steerable trailer range aims to make transporting wind turbine parts easier – it is also the first trailer of this kind to be built in Australia.
Our Trail King Schnable Gooseneck System is another new item we have available; these hydraulic goosenecks have been made to complement other Drake hardware and to withstand everything our country’s environment and weather can throw at them. Our Hydraulic Schnable system has been engineered with the ability to load and unload without using cranes, and to accommodate wide verity tower lengths and diameters.
We recently added the Mine Site Transporter to our range, too. These mine site trailers are designed to carry drills, dozers and other onsite equipment and have capacities up to 200 and 400 tonnes. With auto greasing systems, radio controlled hydraulic suspension, walkways, access ladders and loading ramps, users are guaranteed easy maintenance and efficient work processes.
We have also introduced a steering widener trailer range (in configurations of 3×4 and 4×4), which has a capacity of 50 tonnes and combines fully widening axles with regular self-tracking axles, creating a low loader that is highly manoeuvrable and stable.
