Last month, The Drake Group wrapped up another successful year at the Brisbane Truck Show – Australia’s premier event for the trucking and transport industry. It’s an event that gathers global interest, with more than 300 exhibitors and approximately 40,000 attendees pouring through the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre to view all the technology, engineering, and innovation the industry has to offer.
The 2017 Brisbane Truck Show was a special time for The Drake Group. It was the launch of the combined Drake Group, and the first time Drake Trailers, O’Phee Trailers and Drake Collectibles showcased together at The Drake Group stand. Between eight trailers, including the first appearance of our new addition: The Tilt Slide, a pop-up stall at the Collectors Night, and fundraiser for Legacy, it was a hugely busy (and prosperous) four days.

Each Brisbane Truck Show, the Heavy Vehicle Industry Alliance (HVIA) with the support of their platinum partner BP Australia, host the Brisbane Truck Show Awards to recognise and celebrate the hard work that goes into creating the best in heavy vehicle design, engineering, and manufacturing, influenced by a culture of innovation and safety.
