Meet Wayno!
Wayne joined us an Apprentice Boilermaker after dreaming of engineering type work since high school. He jumped at the chance to work with The Drake Group as he’d heard a lot of great things about our quality manufacturing and engineering.
He’s learnt a lot about working with high tensile steel over the last year and his supervisors have got nothing but glowing words to say about him.
In fact, Wayno’s dream is now a reality. He can now say he is a fully qualified Boilermaker and officially a member of the Drake low loader team! He has also been nominated by Apprenticeships Queensland with our full support for HVIA’s National Apprenticeship of the Year Award. Huge congrats and best of luck Wayno!
