For more than 25 years, Goomboorian Transport has been transporting pine logs and chips in and around Gympie in Queensland. Helping them to meet their transport task is long time supplier, O’Phee Trailers, who provide them with all their Walk It Out trailers and logging skels.
Family-owned Goomboorian Transport has been transporting pine logs and wood chips for more than 25 years, building a reputation as a reliable transport operator. “We have been a long time O’Phee’s customer because they make good strong gear that provides us with a good tare weight and great durability,” says Goomboorian Transport’s Manager – Dave McKellar.
Goomboorian have just taken delivery of a new Walk It Out trailer from O’Phee’s, the fourth of its kind in their fleet, and are extremely pleased with it so far. “This model is a little bit different to the previous ones and our drivers have been very pleased with it.”
“There are internal door handles that allow us to keep the back doors clean and an extra arch in the bows at the top that keep the tarp tight and stop wear, and when you add these features to the other benefits of their design, you have a great trailer,” explains Dave.
These newly designed lightweight range of Walk It Out trailers from O’Phee feature a lightweight moving floor system, with special aluminium extruded plank sides that allow for smooth flowing and extra strength. With lightweight steel construction, it is a safe and easy way to discharge bulk products. Ideal for sign writing, the unit is easy to clean and can hold a standard 95 cubic metres of product – although this can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
