2017 is certainly off to a strong start with some of our favourites rolling out the door during February. Here’s some highlights of our recent deliveries.
New 5X8 Swing Wide for Hogan’s Heavy Haulage
Based in the Hunter Valley, Hogan’s Heavy Haulage has been around almost as long as us, delivering competitive Australia-wide light and heavy haulage solutions thanks to their diverse range of transport options, which has just increased in size due to their brand new 5X8 Swing Wide. The hydraulic widening low loader has a widening capacity of up to 4.6m and is fitted with all the standard Drake Trailers features:
- Stainless steel hydraulic tubing
- Hydraulic controlled ramps
- LED lighting
- Drop legs
- Level deck open at inner rear
- 5.5hp pull start hydraulic power pack

The ever popular Swing Wing
Another recent delivery was also headed straight to a leading Hunter Valley haulage company. One of our ever-popular Swing Wing trailers was delivered to Betts Bower Haulage Group, who are also one of our valued repeat customers.
It was the grandfather of current General Manager, Daniel Bower, who purchased the Group’s first Drake Trailer back in 1988. This time, it was a 4X8 Swing Wing that was put straight to work at a mine site where it had no trouble moving a Komatsu Dozer complete with coal blade and ripper box, tipping the scales at 108t.
