Welcome back to our recent deliveries round-up for July, where we take a closer look at some of the trailers built by O’Phee Trailers and Drake Trailers. This month we delivered three incredible trailers to G.James, Carter Heavy Haulage & Transport and Patlin Transport & Heavy Haulage.
A multipurpose O’Phee Dropdeck ‘LPS’ for G.James
James has 100 years of history and experience in the manufacturing of glass and aluminium windows and doors to the residential, commercial, high-rise and construction market. They certainly “defined their space” when they came to The Drake Group with their vision for a trailer that would transport and protect their glass sheet products. It was a top effort by all at O’Phee Trailers for designing this new multi-purpose drop deck to suit this specialised freight task.
3X4 Deck Widener for Carter Heavy Haulage & Transport
Upon delivery of their last trailer – a quad deck widener – Carter Heavy Haulage said:
“I can’t say enough about the whole process from start to the finish product is faultless. These guys know their product inside and out no matter the specification or application. We look forward to working with the Drake group again in the near future”
Kind words from a great company! And as for working together again in the near future, it only took six months before we handed over the next delivery to Carter Heavy Haulage. These guys pride themselves on their modern fleet that’s maintained to the highest of standards, and with their new 3X4 Deck Widener, you can be sure that their fleet is safe and reliable.
7 Row Extendable Steerable for Patlin Transport & Heavy Haulage
We’ve written about our long-time customer Patlin Transport & Heavy Haulage plenty of times. They’ve been featured as our Customer in Focus and appear in our recent deliveries posts a few times a year. Back in April
2018 they invested in a 4X4 Full Widener with Rear Steer. This time around they’ve opted for 7 Row Extendable Steerable trailer, which will join the rest of their fleet transporting specialist, oversize plant and equipment.
Designed and manufactured by Drake Trailers, the hydraulic widening low loader can reach widths of 4.88 metres and can be built at various lengths to suit individual requirements.
It’s safe to say Patlin Transport & Heavy Haulage were thrilled with the end result, commenting on our Facebook:
“I would like to thank all the crew at The Drake Group on yet another outstanding outcome, this time on our newest trailer. You make it a seamless process. We look forward to the future editions!”
– Pat and Lina Papaluca
