We’re in the second half of our 60th year in operation and we’ve already seen so many amazing trailers drive off The Drake Group lot. We can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store for the rest of 2018.
This month we’re focusing on two of our favourite trailers from O’Phee Trailers and Drake Trailers. You haven’t seen these customers here yet on the blog, so let us introduce you to Seaspray Haulage and Nodtrans Heavy Haulage.
Three trucks and a baby for Nodtrans Heavy Haulage
Massive congratulations to Kirsty and Matthew Donohoe (Noddy) from Nodtrans Heavy Haulage on the birth of their newborn.
Noddy, clearly stoked with more additions to his growing family, picked up a new Drake Trailers 3X8 Swingwing, 3X4 Deck Widener and a trailers best friend – a 2X8 Dolly Trailer.
Seaspray Haulage collect a PBS-approved A Double
The folks at Seaspray Haulage have come a long way from their humble beginnings of one truck and trailer to a fleet that includes more than 11 trucks and 20 trailers. As specialists in the container transport industry, it’s only natural they’d want a combo that can go the distance, adhering to state and federal regulations. Seaspray Haulage got just that when they picked up their second PBS-approved A Double in less than 12 months. Along with the Lead PBS Ska Skel and Rear PBS Skel trailers, Seaspray also picked up a PBS Dolly Trailer too.
PBS stands for Performance-Based Standards, which is was an initiative introduced by the National Heavy Haulage Regulator (NHVR) to ensure heavy vehicle efficiency and higher standards of vehicle safety for travelling on Australia’s diverse roads. If you’re not up with the latest on PBS standards, there have been some recent changes – see what’s in store for PBS vehicles in 2018.
We’re always happy to help our customers expand their fleet. If you want to learn how your business can get moving with a trailer you can rely on, contact The Drake Group today.
