June saw some familiar faces come back for more trailers to add to their expanding fleets. Let’s take a closer look!
ACFS Port Logistics – BoXLoader with Stepover
ACFS Port Logistics are the largest privately-owned container logistics operator in Australia, providing a full “Port to customer door” service and moving over 1.2 million TEU annually. They recently picked up two new O’Phee BoXLoader Stepover Cranes, which is ideal for meeting their productivity targets across their multiple port locations across Australia. This trailer is designed for “trailer to trailer” and “trailer to ground” transfers with legs that step over the companion trailer. O’Phee explains that this negates the need of a trailer mounted side load pad and allows the companion trailer to drive off when empty.
WA Molan & Sons – 3×4 Full Widener and 2×4 Dolly
WA Molan & Sons are a fourth-generation earthmoving and excavation business in Victoria, with eight decades of experience and satisfied customers. They’ve been involved in some major projects in Australia including the Morton’s Lane Wind Farm, the gas exploration sites for Santos and AGR Asia Pacific, and as early works contractors for the Salt Creek Wind Farm.
They recently picked up a Drake 3X4 Full Widener and 2X4 Dolly in what can only be described as “true blue” two-pack paint. The Drake Full Widener has maximised stability and features a drop bed frame, hydraulic suspension and York 15” 10/225PCD axles, while the Drake Dolly trailer is a market leader for its low tare and high tensile frame. Together they make an unstoppable combination.
Colpak – 4×4 Deck Widener and 2×4 Dolly
Colpak was established right here in Brisbane back in 2004, offering platinum-level performance for all their heavy haulage, towing, vehicle transport and relocation services. It was only this time last year that Colpak invested in an O’Phee BoXLoader, so we were happy when they called on us again to build a winning combination for their fleet. This time around they opted for a Drake 2X4 Dolly and customised 4X4 Deck Widener with drop bed and hydraulic gooseneck. Their new trailers look “the business” in silver and Colpak branded orange.
