It’s been an exciting month at Drake with some recent deliveries leaving the Drake Trailers factory. Let’s take a look at just some of the recent trailers that we have said goodbye to.
The team from Masondale Heavy Haulage are delighted with their first ever Drake. The ever popular and the leader in the rows of eight leagues – the 4X8 Swingwing.
The 4X8 Swingwing features:
- 100 tonne Frame
- 13616mm Level Deck
- Enclosed rear inner decks,
- Low profile Hydraulic gooseneck,
- Auto greaser
- Chrome wheels and tail lights
Another recent delivery was the Oberon City Council, who picked up a 3X4 Deck Widener. The deck widener is ready to go to work in the Shire, carting various road maintenance plant and equipment. This is their third Drake trailer and now stepping into 20 years of mutual business.
The 3X4 Deck Widener features:
- 10600mm level deck
- Hydraulic suspension
- EBS brakes
- Bi Fold ramps
- Four toolboxes
Another fresh delivery from the Drake team was for the Toll Global Logistics. The folk at Toll Global Logistics recently picked up 3 sets of 4×8 Self Steering Jinkers and 2×8 Dolly’s.

- Radio remote control manual override steering system
- Manually air operated manual steer lock pin
- Air operated lock pin to bolster rotary lock

- Ringfeder connection
- Alloy operators platform
- Fold away access ladder for safe three points of contact
- Operators platform for lashing down loads
