Welcome back for another month of recent deliveries. Those who follow us on Facebook see glimpses of the trailers driving off The Drake Group manufacturing lot, but here on the blog, we like to delve a little deeper into the behind the scenes of our recent trailer deliveries in Brisbane.
This month we’re focusing on some of our favourite repeat customers: Blenners Transport and Low Loader Services Pty Ltd who both drove away with brand new Drake Deck Wideners.
30 years strong for Blenners Transport
Having bought and used transport equipment for 30 years now, Queensland-based Blenners Transport knows quality when they see it. In April they received a stellar-looking (and functioning) Drake Deck Widener, complete with white and green livery. This model for Blenners Transport features hydraulic suspension, rear steer axles, lift axle, 30,000lb winch and a top deck that widens to 3.3 metres.
Much like The Drake Group, who are celebrating their 60th year in business, Blenners Transport also has a year of milestones. They’re in their 30th year of business! We congratulate Les Blennerhassett and Blenners Transport on this massive achievement and are thrilled to now be a part of their impressive fleet.
Three for three for Low Loader Services Pty Ltd
For three years in a row now, Low Loader Services Pty Ltd has added a new Drake designed and manufactured trailer to their fleet. This time around it was a flashy 4X4 Deck Widener, fit with the famous Drake Group design low profile gooseneck and 8 position sliding skid plate for optimal safety and removes the need to climb the gooseneck to change the kingpin position.
You’re not going to miss this beauty on the road either. With its wild violet coamings, regency red gooseneck and gold pinstripe down the side. Owner of Low Loader Services Pty Ltd, Pat Liszyk, is a massive fan of old-school Ford’s and all his transport trailers replicate the paint scheme of his very cool 1972 Ford GT. Everyone here at The Drake Group can’t wait to see her owning the road.
