Membrey’s Transport and Crane Hire will be displaying their Drake Tilt trailer at the show this week in the Village Green area on the train station side of the Grand Pavillion. Make sure you drop in and say hi to Craig and his team.
If you’re looking for the latest in transport innovation, safety-first design principles and quality manufacturing, our Tilt Slide is the best trailer for your needs. It shouldn’t be hard to find among the tankers, prime movers and reefers on display this year.
Spot the world’s longest extendable, deck-widening Tilt Slide
The deck-widening Tilt Slide trailer is a real eye-opener – extending to 4.8 metres, with a deck that can widen from 2.5 metres to 3.2 metres and capable of transporting up to 40 tonnes.
The model on display was built for Membrey’s Transport and Crane Hire, who needed to transport buses and required a trailer that could safely extend to the required length. The Tilt Slide is proving its versatility far beyond this original design brief and has been put to work across a wide range of heavy haulage environments.
A key benefit of the Tilt Slide is the functionality of its remote operating system. Everything, from the three 20,000-pound winches, engaging the PTO and operating the deck-widening functions can be remotely controlled by the operator, creating a huge occupational health and safety improvement.
The ITTES favourite is back!
The Drake Shop usually has a queue 50m long at ITTES and no doubt the collectible fans will be back this year. It’s no secret that the transport industry loves collectibles and some of the world’s most avid collectors and die-cast model-makers will be in line for The Drake Shop’s latest releases.
