Deserved winner of the Outstanding Trailer and/or Truck Body Manufacturer Display, the design of the O’Phee Trailers stand really grabbed the attention of everyone in Brisbane this year. Once walking around the display, the actual trailers themselves were equally impressive. On show was a 12.2 metre low profile B-Double rated container skel. Offering 39 tonne ATM, the trailer, which is a new addition to the O’Phee range, is designed to carry 9’ 6” containers.
Also offering 39 tonne ATM was a drop deck flat top (general machinery spec), complete with 5 mm chequer flush bottom deck and 3 mm chequer top deck. The stand out, though, was a Hamelex White aluminium tip over axle grain trailer with 41 tonne ATM. The tipper featured an amazing mural composed of thousands of miniature images of trailers, which came together as a montage of a prime mover pulling a skel. Both B-Double and road train rated, the trailer comes with a grain door and chute and tailgate fold over grain lock. Underneath the 6 mm floor and 5 mm walls sit Holland dual speed landing legs.
