As an experienced Design Draftsperson you will find yourself being challenged to think outside the box to evolve and develop products as part of The Drake Group. We’re known for our commitment to quality and innovation. Working closely with Management, Drafting staff, Technical Writers, sales people and other Engineers, you will help deliver creative and innovative solutions to meet the transport needs for a large number of clients across many areas of the transport industry.

You will find yourself interacting regularly with clients and liaising with a number of key stakeholders to ensure that your client’s trailer is ready on time, meets their needs and that they have all the information to support them into the future.

Having come from a heavy industry background you will have:

• Trade Qualification and/or relevant experience
• Certificate IV in Drafting and/or demonstrated experience
• Previous experience with automotive design, mining or plant equipment
• Modelling experience
• 2D and 3D software experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Production drafting
