The Brisbane Truck Show has long been a staple of the local trucking community. Starting in 1968, the show is a fantastic opportunity for manufacturers, retailers, government and industry members and everyone who has a passion for heavy vehicles and their components to get together and see what the future holds.
And in 2021, it’s coming back to Brisbane.
On May 13-16 2021 The Brisbane Truck Show will be opening its doors to the public once more and it promises to be the biggest and best show yet.
The Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA), who run the show, are expecting thirty to fourty thousand visitors to see everything the industry has to offer.
Manufacturers from around the world will be on hand to showcase their new line of trucks, trailers and spare parts across four packed days at the Southbank Exhibition Centre.
In addition to product demonstrations there will also be a National Apprentice Challenge held at the show to showcase the many exciting career opportunities awaiting those new to the workforce. This pits three teams of apprentices against each other to fix a series of programmed faults and see who comes out on top.
Of course The Drake Group will be at The Brisbane Truck Show. As one of Australia’s premier trailer manufacturers, the Drake brand will be proudly adorning a new line of trailers that we can’t wait to share more about in the future. It’s always a great opportunity to reconnect with friends old and new.
The team at Drake Collectibles are already working behind the scenes to reveal new models at the Show so this event will be a must-do for collectors.
