The O’Phee ‘London’ – Innovation At Its Best
Under stringent safety and operational conditions, the world first O’Phee ‘London’ Double Stack Super B double combination successfully completed its first on road trial. NHVR fitted instrumentation to the combination which monitored speed, location and lateral acceleration. Only carrying empty containers and designed in a tri tandem Super B double configuration this ground-breaking design will significantly increase productivity and operational efficiencies by 100% over current existing Super B Double combinations in a single journey.
What is now proved was once only imagined. The trial included John Drake owner The Drake Group, Les Bruzsa chief engineer of National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, Nicola Murray from Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd, Mick O’Phee from O’Phee Trailers and Darren Fuller from Qube.
Drake Collectibles At Queensland Hobbies Expo
In 2022, the 1/50 Mates Collectors Group put on a massive display of both standard and modified Drake diecast replicas at the QMHE (Queensland Model Hobbies Expo). The good news is, in 2023 the Drake Collectibles team will be joining them!!! We will be showcasing some of our new samples, have some product for sale and…. releasing a new Drake model on the Saturday.
